Scallop Cards

I just love how these cards turned out! I saw this tutorial on another person's blog, but I have no idea who it was! (You know how one click turns into another...)

Fold your paper and then line your scallop die like so. (I used Nestabilities).

When you cut it out, this way it will stay connected.

Then the fun begins...decorating them!

I love the "digi downloads." I got these from Pink Petticoat. Just print them off on good cardstock and you have some great images!!!
This also qualifies for the Double Dutch Challenge.

Riding By With A Hi!

I'd have to say this card is courtesy of my sister-in-law! :) We like to swap "goodies" and this was her stamp and paper! It's always fun using someone else's things! LOL!
This card was made for the High Hopes Challenge. If you haven't seen their stamps, they are absolutely adorable!!! I'm hoping to get some soon!
I also did this card using Sketch #38. I'm having a lot of fun using different sketches. It helps my "brain freeze start thawing."

Happy Day

I just love this little bear! Doesn't it look like he's so happy?...Not a care in the world? Penny Black's Challenge was to use pink and brown on the card. That just happens to be my favorite color combination! I also got to use a new corner punch that my Mom-n-law got me for Christmas! I did a lot of distressing on this as well.

If anyone's been looking at my blog in the past few hours, you probably noticed some strange "designs." I am done playing with my background and header...at least for the time being. :)

Unforgettable

Something kinda funny...As I went to load the pictures of this card to the computer, it started playing the song that's above the elephant! (One of my most favorite songs, by the way!!) :)
I tried my hand at water coloring. I've tried it before, but it took way too long for my liking!!! (Besides, I'm a kid at heart, and I love to color!) However, I happened on this blog and she gave a tutorial that I found a whole lot easier! I didn't use a blender pen like she states. I just used a water pen.
This card was also used for the Mojo Monday Challenge. I didn't realize how many card blogs are out there!!!! YOWZERS! There are a lot of talented artists! Makes me feel kinda inadequate about putting mine on, but it's something I enjoy doing! So for now, I'll continue using my talent the way God designed in ME!

Valentine Bubbles

So, I decided to ignore my housework for awhile and actually make a card. This is the first one I've made this year.
Does anyone else have trouble with getting in a rut? It seems like I always sit down determined that I'm going to make a card look different and it never fails...it still somehow looks the same to me!
