Aren't these Pilgrims too cute?

I tried a couple of new techniques for me: watercolors and heat embossing. I've tried to emboss before, but just ended up making a big mess. I think I figured it out this time. ;)

Christmas Snow Globe

Another time consuming card...

This card has been heat embossed, watercolored, and heat embossed again. I also machine stitched around the edges. The ribbon also sparkles!

Hope to get some more cards made and posted before long. I'm kinda in a slump! Sometimes I feel like I do the same-o, same-o. Any ideas? Of course, having to take care of a 2 month old baby sorta limits my time. Lol! :)

I did something today that I've never done before. I decided to do a card challenge. I had fun doing it...not too challenging for this scatter-brain.

The pumpkin, Pilgrim's shoes, and buckles are glazed.

I really like how the inside of this card turned out. Call me a cheapskate, but I only had a little of the plain cardstock left and I didn't want to cut up another piece. I had plenty of the scraps left over and so I pieced it together giving it this look. I thought it turned out cute!

Note: I love this paper! It is from My Mind's Eye and is a cardstock paper with glitter embossed on it. Very cool!
