CAS Dogwood

Hello and Happy Friday! So, did you complete a month of your New Year's resolutions? I'm always so positive when I start out, but it usually doesn't last...sigh...worth a try, I suppose.

This week, at Sister Act Card Challenge, we're being sponsored by Digi Darla Designs. I went with a VERY clean and simple layout. The image is Dogwood Bouquet, but I printed it fairly large and then cut out the two front flowers. The bling is from Micheals.

She Picked You

This card was made for a college friend who just got word that a birth mother chose them to be the parents of a little girl. They have waited awhile and are super excited, as well they should be. I am so happy for them!!! Her nickname is Chari and she collects cherry items, so this image screamed at me for her. Inside the card, I put "I'm so glad she picked you!"

The image is from Meljens and she is sponsoring us this week at Sister Act Card Challenge. It is called Cheery Cherries. I cut it out and used this card for inspiration. The paper is from KaiserCraft.
Thanks for stopping by,

You Make Me Happy...

Would you totally be amazed or concerned if I told you it was 10/23/2013 for the writing of this post? I do believe this is the furthest ahead I've ever scheduled a card to air and hopefully it works and blogger doesn't have a stroke. Reason: There is supposed to be a little guy joining our family at the beginning of Jan, so I am doing my best to get everything up as far in advance as I can. I am pretty sure I am one tired mama right now!

This week at Sister Act Card Challenge, we are being sponsored by Louby Loo. They are no stranger to our blog. You'll want to join us as they are generously giving away a gift certificate. The card challenge is always anything goes.

I made this card using an old deconstructingjen sketch.  The text paper came on the back of a 12x12 and had several that you could cut up. Not sure of the brand...The owl is a 3D sticker from Jo-Ann's. I love owls. I have no idea if he goes with the text, but thought it made for a cheery looking addition.
Thanks for looking and get some extra shut-eye for me. :)

Share A Latte

Happy New Year a few days late. We took a little holiday break over at Sister Act Card Challenge, but we're back at it! Hope you're able to join us.
We have a new sponsor this week: A Random Fan. She has an Etsy shop with lots of cute digi's. I used Share A Latte.
