Fall seems to be arriving and I've been popping out decor slowly over the house. It got me itching to make a fall card. I've also been doing some other crafty things.

Absent Minded

I made this card according to a sketch last week, but I never did get it uploaded. Sigh...

This is being entered into Cute Card Thursday's challenge.

Having thoughts about deleting my blog...doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

Birthday Bunnies

Used an old Stampin' Up! set for this card. I've had it for awhile, but don't hardly use it. I've really been trying to use up some of my never ending pile of scrapbook items before buying a bunch of new things. Call me thrifty, poor!, but it's been fun looking and seeing what all I forgot I had!
Paper: Making Memories
Cardstock: Bazzill
Brads: The Paper Studio
Image: Stampin' Up!
Coloring: Copics
Embellishments: Flowers (Misc), Leaf Punch (Martha Stewart), Spellbinders, Ribbon (Misc)

Happy Fall

Before you realize it, the temps will be getting cooler and the days shorter, the leaves will be changing and hayrides will be swingin'! I love the fall time!
Just a "for fun" card:

Vintage Magnolia

Happy Monday Morning, Everyone!!!

Can you believe it's the last week of July? I kinda ignored everyone when I was younger and they told me time flew! Now, I understand and I don't consider myself old?!? What will it be then? Yikes! So. much. to. do!

Now, to the point of the post...LOL! I participated in the Just Magnolia and Cute Card Thursday challenges.

I'm not sure if I captured the "vintage" look or not, but I tried to add lots of embellishments that reminded me of it. It was a fun card to make...a challenge, but that's what we all need sometime.

Friday Sketchers

I decided to be brave and venture out of my rut. I went with no designed paper!!! Aagghhh...do you know how much I love DP?? I have a collection going on here that there is no way I'll use it all!
I embossed my white cardstock with birds & swirls and dots from Cuttlebug. Then I backed them with a dark gray cardstock from Bazzill. There is a glimmer mist added to the flowers, but it doesn't show up in the picture. All punches are by Martha Stewart except the little flower (Fiskars, maybe?).
I went with the awesome sketch from Friday Sketchers...Love It!

2 in 1

First card is following the sketch over at Double Dutch. I decided to do a male themed card. How hard is it to not add flowers? I just wasn't able to justify it! LOL! Instead, I added some more twine and it reminds me of a fish.
Each level of scalloped ovals is popped up.
I'm not able to tell you what the image is b/c it was in my stash. The brad is a Spare Parts (I believe).

The 2nd card is following a sketch from Simon Says. The paper is from K & Company. (I've been using them a lot lately, but I found some paper packs in my stash that I had forgotten about). The flower stems are also from them. I found them on clearance at Michaels. Love the clearance!! I used a border punch from Fiskars. Added Stickles to the stars on the box, but it doesn't really show up in the picture.

How Does Your Garden Grow

Was inspired by Pickled Paper Designs for my sketch. The image is an old Stampin' Up! Very tired, so words are limited! :) Have a great night!

DT Call

Your Next Stamp is having a DT call. Their stamps are oh so cute! You can find out the details to the call here. The call runs until July 31st.
We're supposed to list 3 of our favorite creations...
Do you know how hard it is to pick? :) There are some that are obvious "Um, Noooo!" and there are some where you had your mojo going on that day! Ha! As I was digging back in the past, I had forgotten some of the cards I made. It was kinda fun looking back!

NURSES SAVE LIVES

Both my sister and my SIL are RN's. My little sis is a CNA, so I think we should get taken pretty good care of on both sides. :) Isn't this image so cute?
I'm pretty sure the paper came from K & Company. (I've had it for a long time, but it got hidden...what was I thinking?) Ribbon was just pulled from my stash, but my guess is Making Memories. Cardstock is Bazzill. I used Stampablities to cut it out and a Martha Stewart border punch.

Summer Fun

Did anyone else love the teeter-totter, but was afraid your partner was going to give you a "cherry bomb?!?!" :)
These little guys look like they're having so much fun!

Warm Winter

What a great sketch over at Whiff of Joy!!

I decided to rotate it...here's my version:
The paper is actually a wedding pack from K & Company. I embossed with snowflakes and then added glitter. I like the cool effect of the colors.

I also am linking up to Cute Card Thursday which is holidays.

Sisters

Having 2 sisters, this saying cracks me up! The stamp is from Stampabilities. I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday. Thought this would be a fun card for anyone who wanted to make their sister laugh!

Just Magnolia MEETS Sketch Saturday

I was actually up till 3am making this card!! I couldn't sleep...good grief! I must be getting old because caffeine doesn't usually affect me.
I combined two challenges in this card. I used the recipe from Just Magnolia and the sketch from Sketch Saturday. My daughter recently got a pair of rain boots from her aunt and this image kinda reminded me of her.
The border punch is from Fiskars, paper is by The Paper Studio, & ribbon Bazzill. If you have any other questions, just leave a comment. I love to hear from you!

SNOWMAN LOVE*** CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Wow! Talking about getting ahead...
I love this snowman! I think I have used him more than any other stamp I own. He's just so stinkin' cute! I got him at Hobby Lobby and he's from Stampabilities. The paper is from Basic Grey and if you'll look closely at the snowflakes, they shimmer! Ribbon is form Making Memories and the border punch is a Martha Stewart.

Thanks Be For Thee

Thanks for stopping by!

Thought I'd get a head start on fall cards.

This card uses an old Stampin' Up! set. I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers.  The paper is out of my stash, but came from K & Company. I'm pretty sure the flower embellishments are from Spare Parts. I used a Martha Stewart punch to make the leaves. It's been colored with Copics.

Birthday Blessings

I created this card using paper from the Recollections line. I decided to be brave and go with papers that didn't necessarily "coordinate," but matched...make sense? LOL! I really like how it turned out. The image is from Whiff of Joy and colored with Copics. The white flowers are some silk flowers that I popped off and then added Primas. I'm linking it up to ASFOS (birthdays).

Slaying Dragons

Wow! I'm on a roll this week...two days in a row! Cardstock is Bazzill, but I don't remember the brand of the paper (got it from Hobby Lobby, along with the embellishments). Colored him with my Copics.
Was able to complete 3 challenges with this card: Whiff of Joy (sketch & image), ASFOS (boy card), & Simon Says (child card).

Spring Peep Meets Mojo Monday

This is a freebie digi download from Delightful Inspirations. Isn't it cute? I decided to go with Mojo Monday's challenge for my sketch. Lovin' the paper, but it was from a trade-off with my SIL, so I'm not sure of the brand. We like to get those big paper packs and trade because there's always more than one of the same print. Smart, huh?!?! Used my Copics to color and my Cricut for the flowers. The cardstock is by Bazzill.

Sweat Pea

I have some upcoming invitations to make because I'm gonna be an aunt!! I'm not sure if this'll be the finished product because quite frankly it took a long time!!! (And, I'm still deciding if I like it. It's not my usual style...)I'm entering it in the Simon Says Challenge.
