Tea With Tilda

Hello Everyone,

This is my last post for The Rubber Buggy. I would like to thank Kellie for allowing me to be a part of her team. I've enjoyed making all the cards to showcase her merchandise.

I used Joyful Tilda for this card and made it VERY SPRINGY! :)  The majority of the flowers came from Micheals, as did the bling.

Birthday Girl

Hello,

Here again with the Joyful Tilda image. I inked her up with Copics and then cut her out. I cut the "Birthday Girl" out on my Cricut using the Storybook cartridge. The flowers are a wide variety and the paper is some old My Mind's Eye. I then added Stickles to some of the embellishments.

Nurse Tilda

This card was made very quickly, but I think it turned out cute. Sometimes you don't have a lot of time to spend on a card, so it's great to have a "go-to" style.

I used Nurse Tilda for my image and colored her up with Copics.

Rubber Buggy Challenge

Hey Everyone! We're back with another challenge sponsored by The Rubber Buggy. Kellie is generously offering a $15 gift certificate to the winner. The theme: More than 1 fold. My first thought was to make an easel card, but as I was sitting there getting ready to make it, I started folding and came up with this instead. I know, it's not rocket science. :)

Delightfully Cute

I inked up Cocco with Present with Copics. I believe she was intentionally meant to be a Christmas image, but this just shows you you can be versatile with so many of the images. The papers are from waaaay back (My Mind's Eye)-trying to clean out some of my stash. I sometimes have a habit of saving the cute stuff. Dumb, I know! It measures 6x6. The flowers are from a variety of places.

U and Me

Happy Saturday!

I think this card turned out so cute (if I do say so myself). I used a lot of things that have been in my stash FOREVER! I've been trying to be so good and use things up. I would love to go on a scrap shopping spree. Tee hee...

This card features Magnolia Sister and Brother.

Rubber Buggy Post

Hello,

Happy Saturday!

I have a card using the Tilda Nurse image from Magnolia. I colored her in with Copics. Decided to give her a vintage flair using a variety of flowers, embellishments, and paper from Simple Stories.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Saturday!!!! Yay for the weekend!! :)

Don't forget to check out my candy
----------------------------------->>>>>>>>

I have a bit of a different card for you today. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and get out I did! I'm sure you all have seen the "white on white" cards popping up all over blog land. I thought I'd give it a whirl. Mine is not nearly as elegant looking as some, but I'm fairly happy with my first attempt.

Is your eyes drawn to the bling garland? You can purchase it here. There are several colors available

HUGS

Happy Saturday!

I have a bright and funky card for you this week for The Rubber Buggy. I used Magnolia's Sister and Brother image. Inked it up with Copics and added some Magnolia Chandelier Garland to my other embellishments.

The paper, embellishments, and flowers all came from Micheals $1, $2, $3 aisle. I love that aisle!! They seriously have paper roses for $1!!! Run peeps! :) You can tell them I sent you, but pretty sure they don't know who I am. HA!

Picking Peaches

Happy Saturday! I have a fairly simple card to share with you today using Tilda Picking Peaches. I paper pieced her and then colored over image with Copics. It didn't seem to have enough definition plain.

The paper and larger brads are from My Mind's Eye.

This card was made for The Rubber Buggy.

Roses Are Red...

Good Morning! Happy sleeping in day! ;)

I ventured way out of my comfort zone with today's card. I wasn't really in the mood to color *shocker,* so I decided I'd think out of the box. The verdict is still out on what I think about the card. I tried to make it look like a bouquet of flowers.

The red patterned paper came from The Rubber Buggy. Similar flowers can also be found there. Don't forget the challenge going on. Winner will receive a gift certificate to the store.

Love U

I wanted to make a Valentine's Day card without overflowing it with hearts and red/pink. As good as my intentions are, I usually don't get them mailed and so therefore it could be used as an anniversary/spouse birthday/new love/etc card. The majority of the time I like to make my cards more general themed because I can use them for more than one occasion. I just build up my stash and run to it when needed. Sounds good in theory, right?! :)
I chose to use Magnolia's Sister and Brother image. I've used it for Christmas before, as well. I followed the sketch from deconstructing jen. I'll have to admit I felt a little out of my league joining in this challenge, but I guess that is what "challenge" means. They are having a DT call, so I took a gander at that, too.
The paper and twine are from My Mind' Eye (another treasure found at TJ Maxx-paper packs for $2.99). I believe the punch is Fiskars, but I could be wrong. The sentiment was hand written.

Sniffles

Unfortunately, it's "sick" season, so you can never have too many 'get well cards' on hand. This little guy from Mo Manning would cheer someone up. I think he's adorable. I colored him up with Copics. The chandelier garland can be found here.

Tea Time

Would it totally shock you if I didn't post a Christmas card this close to the holiday? ;) I like to sell some of my cards and it's past time selling Christmas, so I made a general themed one. Thought it'd be sweet for a birthday or thinking of you.
I chose Joyful Tilda and colored her up with Copics. The big white rose can be found here. I added some cheesecloth and other embellishments I had on hand. Then I glittered the flowers with Stickles.

Brother and Sister

Hello all,

The clock is ticking...Christmas is a-comin'! :)

I made a small card that would be perfect for attaching to a gift. The image is Sister & Brother from Magnolia. I used my Cuttlebug to cut out the circular shapes. The bling is from BasicGrey and the twine is from My Mind's Eye. The paper is from my scraps, so I'm not sure where to direct you on that.

The following is a list of the Copics I used to color the image:

Hair: E57, 33, 31
Skin: E11, 00, 000, 02
Red: R37, 39
Yellow: Y28, 26, 04
Turquois: BG75, 49, 15, 10
Shirt: W3, 00

Rubber Buggy Challenge

Welcome to the 2nd official challenge here at The Rubber Buggy.

We will be offering the winner a Gift Certificate from The Rubber Buggy.

We'd love to see your holiday themed cards using non-traditional colors in conjunction with traditional colors.  So pull out all the stops and show us what you have created.

I created a Christmas card seal using a snowflake image from Magnolia. The red paper is also from that company.  I colored in the snowflake with Copic 110 Special Black (thus the non-traditional) and added some Stickles.

Cocco Tag

Wow, can you even believe how fast Christmas is approaching? Yikes!!! I have everything done except stocking stuffers.

Made a quick tag using Cocco with Present.  I just placed the tag over another piece of paper and thus created this look. I love how it turned out. Used Copics to color.

Cocco with Present

Busy, busy, busy!!! That's what it is around here...I'm sure you are, too. Thanks for taking the time to check us out.

I chose to use a simple layout with not very many embellishments. Used the spotted coloring technique with my Copics.  The cute bear image comes from Magnolia and is called Cocco with Present.
