Tea With Tilda

Hello Everyone,

This is my last post for The Rubber Buggy. I would like to thank Kellie for allowing me to be a part of her team. I've enjoyed making all the cards to showcase her merchandise.

I used Joyful Tilda for this card and made it VERY SPRINGY! :)  The majority of the flowers came from Micheals, as did the bling.

Turtle Friend

Happy Good Friday...I am so thankful for the reason we celebrate this day! Because of Jesus' love, and the repentance of my sins, I now have a future home in Heaven.
We have a sick household today. My poor little girl has been throwing up all day. She isn't complaining about pain, nor does she have a fever, but boy her tummy is mad at something! Sure hope she gets over it soon. We've just been hanging out together upstairs in the family area-her with Berenstain Bears and me with this cute little turtle.
I colored it up with copics and then cut it out. I used the sketch from Deconstructing Jen. The papers are from My Mind's Eye-Quite Contrary. I typed the sentiment.
List of Copics:
R39, E18
W5,3,00
Y26, 04
RV 42, 000
G0000, 21, YG03

Non-Card Craft

I had a friend from college ask me if I would paint a sign for her daughter's "big girl" room. When she showed me the idea, I was like, "Yikes, that's a lot of words!" I loved it, though. I have a daughter a little younger than hers and as a Mommy who is trying to teach my daughter to be a child of the King, I knew I would enjoy doing this for her. It ended up not taking nearly as long as I thought.

I free-handed the letters and flower doodles. I used to always doodle in college when I was taking notes. Who knew it would one day pay off? LOL

I think this verse is a good reminder for us adults, as well. I so want the "beauty of Jesus to be seen in me."

Linking up to A Sheltering Tree.

DTC-Spring Colors

Another Tuesday has arrived. Anyone else getting crazy "spring" weather?

This week at Digital Tuesday Challenge, we're being sponsored by QKR Stampede. They are offering the winner 5 digi's. So, why not come have a try at it? The theme is spring colors, so there is a lot of options you could play with. I went with blue and green-blue skies and green grass always makes me thing of spring. The image I used can be found here.

I paper pieced his clothes using Basic Grey brand. The ribbon and button are old. I'm pretty pleased with how I've been using some of my stash. The twine is from American Crafts. I went with a clean and simple layout because I have the hardest time embellishing boy cards.

Holly Jolly Christmas-MIM

Hello Everyone! Ready to start another week? Can you believe it's the last week of March already? Yikes! The way this year is flying by, I'll be needing Christmas cards sooner than I'd like to think. ;)

With that, I have made my first Christmas card for our Make It Monday link-up party. I used an image from our sponsor Rick St. Dennis. It's called Holiday Cottage Scene. He has a wide assortment of digis and I'm sure you would enjoy looking through all of them.
The paper is from Making Memories-found it at Big Lots on the cheap, so I'm pretty sure it's retired. The ribbon is Recollections and the flowers are a wide assortment. I added some stickles to make the snow sparkle, but it's not showing up very good in the picture.
Copics:
Gray: W5, 3, 00
Red: E19, 07
Green: G21, YG 03
Blue: B0000, 000

We'd love for you to join us! Remember, to be in the running to win the prize from our sponsor this week just leave a comment for another entry. Be sure to mention you saw them on Make It Monday. The more entries you comment on the more chances you have of winning!

Birthday Girl

Hello,

Here again with the Joyful Tilda image. I inked her up with Copics and then cut her out. I cut the "Birthday Girl" out on my Cricut using the Storybook cartridge. The flowers are a wide variety and the paper is some old My Mind's Eye. I then added Stickles to some of the embellishments.

Cuteness Alert

Hey, Everyone! No card to show, but I wanted to give a shout-out to my friend's etsy store. I have never "officially" met Brittany, but we have become internet pals through mutual friends. I'm pretty sure if we lived close together, we could become quite the dangerous pair. We seem to love all the same things. She, however, is way more craftier and talented than me...especially when it comes to sewing. I pretty much bombed that quality, much to my mother's dismay. (She can sew anything).
You have got to check out her adorable totes. Ruffles, flowers, cute material...how can you go wrong?

Mother's Day idea??
She even adds pockets to the insides:
Would make a great tote for library books or scrapbook supplies! Work? Lots of ideas!!
Head on over and tell her Jenny sent ya!!

I'm pretty positive she takes custom orders, as well.

Friends Swing-MIM

Hi MIM friends!

Monday again already which is fantastic because it means the start to another fabulously fun linky party.  I trust everyone had a great weekend.

This week, I'd like to share a card using an image from our sponsor Bugaboo. I chose to use Ava & Deacon Friends Swing. Aren't they sweet?
I used a bunch of my clearance goodies from Basic Grey found at Jo-Ann's. The ribbon is old and the bead came from Micheals. I tried to keep it fairly clean and simple. What's up with that lately? LOL
