WOW! Did I wipe out some challenges today! When you have an 11 month on the move, you have to do what you can! :)
The first challenge was Friday Sketchers...thus, the sketch on my card! ;) Doesn't take much explanation there...LOL!
The second challenge was Cute Card Thursday...FRUITY...check out the background paper, which is K & Company, btw. Also, if you look really closely at her dress, you'll notice some teeny-tiny cherries!
The third challenge was Just Magnolia...DISTRESSING...I used this technique on the pink cardstock and the layer just behind the image. (Does anyone else have trouble matching their pink cardstocks to their DP???...or is it just me?)
It's Friday and I' m soooo excited! I'm a SAHM, so it doesn't ring the same bell as those who work, but it means my hubby will be with me! YAY! Just let me put in a little plug for him...he's sooooo special and I love him soooo much!!! :)

Simon Says Challenge
Had so much fun with SSC last week, thought I'd play along again! This card took me some time!!!! Did a lot of unnecessary cutting...don't you hate that! You think you have an idea, so you put it into action, but it does not work!
Their theme this week was distressing...used quite a bit around my card. There is lots of 3D to it as well. If you look closely the frog & flower are also 3D'd (is that a word? LOL!) Of course, had to get in some stitching. The paper is from K&Company. Coloring is done by Copics. Now, to see if ya'll are paying attention...(I realize I should have started another paragraph, but I'm just curious to see if anyone is reading...) :) I cased a card over at SCS. If you can find the card, first one to leave a comment telling where it is will be awarded some blog candy. Now, here are a couple of hints: 1) The member's name starts with a S. 2) Her name reminds of a cereal's theme..."Snap, Crackle, Pop" 3) There are 3 parts to the name. Good luck! Thanks for looking!

Magnolia's Monthly Challenge
Magnolia's Monthly Challenge was to decorate a paper bag. I made mine into a card/giftcard holder.I actually did the front according to a sketch for another challenge, but I didn't get the whole bag decorated in time to submit it. Imagine that! :)

Simon Says Challenge
Man! I'm on a roll today! LOL! Here's another challenge I haven't played in yet. Simon Says has a great sketch and this is my take on it!This is another little cutie that I stamped at the Amish store.
Whiff of Joy Challenge
Never played on this challenge before...partly because it helps to have Whiff of Joy images! LOL! I finally was able to get one on Ebay and then a few in a swap. YAY! Now, I can play! This card qualifies for 2 challenges: Whiff of Joy-sketch & A Spoon Full of Sugar-Swirls. I made the swirls to look like vines and then added the flowers. The paper comes from K & Company. Any other questions, just ask!! :)
Friday Sketchers
What a fun sketch @ Friday Sketchers this week! I flipped it b/c the image I chose didn't work the other way. The image is a Precious Moments one...this past weekend, we went to my in-laws and they have some Amish stores that we like to hit up. One of them is a stamp store and they have this deal that you can use their stamps for $1.00/hr. So, my SIL and I got some ink and cardstock and went to town! They said they had over 500 stamps to choose from! Wow, did we have fun stamping them out to play with later! This was one of them! So cute!

Christmas in July @ DTC!
WOW! Is it hard for everyone else to believe that it's time to start making Christmas cards?!?! Cannot even believe that the year is 1/2 over! Craziness!
This week at DTC, we want you to start thinking about decking the halls and jingling them bells! :) It's Christmas in July!!! What a way to get a great head start on your holiday cards! Just think...get them all done now and you'll have oodles of time for other things! LOL!
Don't forget to use a digi image...the winner this week will be the lucky receiver of 3 images from Dustin Pike! I have a few myself and I must say they are adorable!
I was inspired by Amy @ Pickled Paper Designs on the layout for this card! Her cards are always so elegant looking! Mine doesn't even compare, but I think it still turned out cute! The image is from Lily-Boo's Boutique.

Sketch Saturday
Chose to follow the sketch from SS today for my Digital Stamp Oasis card. This image hasn't been out all that long and I haven't played with it yet. I have a customer asking for some 'teacher-thank- you' cards, so this is perfect! She looks like she's a top-notch student ready to learn! (And, of course, that's what us teachers like! LOL!) :)Don't forget to sign up for my blog candy!

I'm back!!!!!! (For all those who faithfully stop by! LOL!) My computer just all of a sudden died on me! Thankfully, the man who fixed it was able to save my pictures and digi downloads! So, I'm back up and running and trying to catch up! :)
My first card is one using a DSO image. (I feel like I've been a terrible DT member...I will be making lots of cards using Ellie's images to try and make up for my lost time! Her images are super cute, so it's not a tragedy! LOL!)
