Friday Sketchers

Haven't made a card all week...the others were pre-posted. It's been a busy, fast week! So, I was happy to be able to sit down and create something.

Digital Tuesday Challenge..."Hop To It!"

This week, DTC's challenge is to "Hop To It!"...anything that hops! How fun!?! I, of course, chose frogs! :)

The image is from Cuddly Buddly, paper from Cosmo Cricket, and ribbon from Basic Grey. I added some Sparkles to the dragonfly's wings, but it doesn't show in the picture. Machine stitched around the card.

Digital Stamp Oasis

Happy Thursday Everyone!!! Tomorrow's Friday....

Just a quick post, as I have much to do still!!!!!
This cards features a digi image from Digital Stamp Oasis. Isn't this so sweet? I used the theme from Cute Card Thursday, which was Lazy Days...looks like this squirrel is enjoying the lazy days of summer and the yummy treats that come along with it!!

Inky Impressions...Paper Piecing

I just love this challenge! It always looks so cute, but somehow I always forget about doing it! :)

Used the digi once again...I did, however, get some new releases the other day, so you'll wanna stay tuned for a sneak peek in the future!!! They are cute!

The paper comes from a Wedding paper pack from Deja Views. Added some flowers and pearl pins. Both the branch bunch and the doily punch are from Martha Stewart. Sheer ribbon is from ribbonFX. Used my Spellbinders for the backdrop where she's sitting. Coloring is done with Copics. Any questions...feel free to leave a comment and I'll do my best to answer!

Digital Tuesday Challenge...Male Cards

Anyone else have a hard time making a "male" card? No frillys, flowers, or fluff! :) I tried to keep mine pretty simple...The image is from Dustin Pike. I believe it was one of his freebies! Can't help you out with the paper and such b/c it all came from my stash! :)

The Sugar Bowl

I've never played in this challenge before...partly b/c I don't own any Sugar Nellie stamps. :( However, I was able to get some in a swap, so I'm super excited! They're sooo cute!The challenge was a great sketch, but you also had to make your own flowers! No primas!! I had some crocheted ones, but they were too big. So, I had this little punch and matched it to a Martha Stewart's leaf punch. The paper is from K & Co.

This card follows the sketch from Friday Sketchers with the theme being from Just Magnolia.

I'm not usually a purple girl, but decided to go with it today. The paper is from Deja Views. Look at that green lace!!!...Yard sale special! Don't ya love it? The border punch is from Fiskars and I added some machine stitching. The quote came in the pack of paper.Also, decided to decorate the inside as well.

Two Lovebirds & Exciting News

Mojo Monday

WOW! Another week is here...Can you believe it's August?! Unreal!!

I had a customer ask for some sympathy cards and she needed them ASAP...so, headed over to Mojo Monday for some inspiration! They have a great sketch this week!
I heat embossed the image...haven't done that in a really long time! Then I just accented with some color. Paper is from K & Company.Thanks for looking! Hope you have a pleasant week!
