Ok...I think...I just might have...Maybe...
I think I learned how to make my own background templates for my blog. The trouble I'm having is getting the sizing right. What does it look like from your screen? I'd welcome any comments!!
Now, I realize this isn't fancy! :) Give me a break...I'm just learning how to do this. LOL! I definitely don't want to spend a lot of time on them yet if they don't look right. My backside is already going numb from taking so stinkin' long learning how to do this! Sigh...if I only knew a little more about technology! :)
Happy New Year Everyone!

3 More Planners
Yowzers! It's certainly busy this time of year! Hopefully, I'll be able to start making some cards again. (Of course, none of this busyness has to do with having a 4 month old baby girl)! I did get some planners made today.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I got a bunch of new "toys" to play with later...when I get some more time! :)

I tried a couple of new techniques for me: watercolors and heat embossing. I've tried to emboss before, but just ended up making a big mess. I think I figured it out this time. ;)

Cardstock: Stampin' Up, Bazzill, 140 lb. watercolor paper
Paper: My Mind's Eye
Punches: Leaf & Flower

Giveaway
I love looking at different card/scrapbook artists' blog. I learned how to make my pumpkins from Faith's tutorial on here: The Candy Shoppe
Hope to get some more cards made and posted before long. I'm kinda in a slump! Sometimes I feel like I do the same-o, same-o. Any ideas? Of course, having to take care of a 2 month old baby sorta limits my time. Lol! :)

Lili of the Valley Challenge-Sketch 2
I did something today that I've never done before. I decided to do a card challenge. I had fun doing it...not too challenging for this scatter-brain.
Sometimes it helps to find something/someone to get your "creative juices" flowing. I'm not really sure how I found this site...one click led to another. :)
This is the sketch:
This is what I came up with:
Supplies:
Image & Cardstock: Stampin' Up
Paper: My Mind's Eye
Flowers & Large Brad: Spare Parts
Ribbon: ribbonFX
Thanks Be For Thee!
Supplies:
Image: Stampin' Up
Cardstock: Stampin' Up
Paper: My Mind's Eye
Flowers: Flora Doodles
Other: Ribbon, brads, brown ink pad for distressing, Stampin' Up ticket punch, Stampin' Up Crystal Effects
The pumpkin, Pilgrim's shoes, and buckles are glazed.
I really like how the inside of this card turned out. Call me a cheapskate, but I only had a little of the plain cardstock left and I didn't want to cut up another piece. I had plenty of the scraps left over and so I pieced it together giving it this look. I thought it turned out cute!
Note: I love this paper! It is from My Mind's Eye and is a cardstock paper with glitter embossed on it. Very cool!
